The symposium is held in the university centre of the University of Innsbruck at the head of the Ötztal valley a single conference building with lecture hall, foyer and on-site accommodation.

Getting there

By air

Innsbruck Airport (IBK), about 100 km. Munich (MUC) and Zurich (ZRH) are alternatives with more long-haul connections.

By train

ÖBB to Ötztal Bahnhof, then bus 4194 up the valley to Obergurgl (approx. 1 h 45 min).

By car

A12 Inntal motorway, exit Ötztal, then the Ötztal road to Obergurgl. Winter tyres are mandatory; parking at the Universitätszentrum.

Transfer

Shared coach and taxi transfers from Innsbruck Airport are arranged separately; the symposium office can point you to the local providers.
